Korea - Africa Youth Forum
In December, Soyun Kim shared her experiences and insights from participating in the 4th Pan African Youth Forum held in Oran, Algeria. During the panel discussion, she emphasized the importance of fostering youth cooperation between Korea and Africa, drawing on her own experiences working with Madagascar.

COP 29
In November, Soyun Kim discussed the role and importance of Education for Sustainable Development in addressing climate catastrophes at the Korea Pavilion organized by Korea University and SDSN Korea. She emphasized how youths and children could play a key role and participate more actively in global-level discussions.
At the Madagascar Pavilion, Soyun Kim shared her experience developing a climate education curriculum and textbook with a Malagasy NGO, highlighting the importance of considering ethics in international cooperation projects.

Lucy Kim organized a special session with AIKA on the 18th, Youth and Children's Day. She co-hosted the Asia-Africa Networking session, creating a fun and relaxing space for climate leaders from diverse backgrounds to engage and network.
KF Metaverse Special Talk
In the KF global center metaverse space, before an audience of 650, Soyun Kim and Lucy Kim shared their experiences and insights from the CLIMADA project, which focuses on developing a climate change education program for primary students in Sambava, Madagascar.
Pan - African Youth Forum
From November 1 - 4, Soyun Kim participated in the 4th Pan-African Youth Forum as a representative of Seoul National University Asia - Africa Center with support from the Korea - Africa Foundation. This year’s PAY forum was held in Oran, Algeria hosted by African Union.

Global Citizenship Educator Training
From August to November, Soyun Kim trained 20 participants to become global citizenship educators. This training course was hosted by Dalseo-gu and supported by the Daegu International Development Cooperation Center. As of 2025, 18 trainees are actively teaching in kindergartens and primary schools in Daegu.
The training focused on four key topics related to the SDGs:
No Poverty (SDG 1)
Responsible Consumption and Production (SDG 12)
Climate Action (SDG 13)
Peace, Justice, and Strong Institutions (SDG 16)
AIKA Boot Camp
From October to November, our team held an exhibition about the CLIMADA project under the name ‘마다할 수 없었던, 우리의 마다가스카르’. By sharing experiences and insights from our field research in Sambava, we were able to inspire many visitors and encourage Korean youth to pursue international projects addressing global issues.
The exhibition was organized by Seoul National University Central Library and the Gwanjung Foundation, with support from the Korea Foundation.

Madagascar Exhibition
CLIMADA Project
From April to December, Soyun Kim designed and implemented the CLIMADA (Climate + Madagascar) project with her team. This project is about developing a climate change education program including the curriculum, primary level textbook, biodiversity board game 'Biby eto Mada’, and teaching plan.

In December, we had an opportunity to share the project result to the public. On the project presentation day, our team won the first prize among other project teams.
